By accessing or using Grant-AI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Grant-AI is an AI-powered platform that helps users discover, match with, and apply to accelerators, grants, incubators, and other innovation funding programs. The Service includes:

Program discovery and database access
AI-powered matching based on user profiles
AI-generated application drafts
Application submission assistance
Application tracking and management

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

4. User Content & Data

You retain ownership of all content you provide to Grant-AI, including your startup descriptions, profiles, and application materials. By using the Service, you grant Grant-AI a limited license to process this data for the purpose of providing the Service.

We do not sell your data. Your information is used solely to provide and improve the Service.

5. AI-Generated Content

Grant-AI uses artificial intelligence to generate application drafts and recommendations. While we strive for accuracy:

AI-generated content should be reviewed before submission
We do not guarantee acceptance into any program
You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of all applications before they are submitted
No application is submitted without your explicit approval

6. Application Submissions

Grant-AI may assist in submitting applications on your behalf, but only with your explicit approval for each submission. You acknowledge that:

You are the legal applicant for any program you apply to through Grant-AI
You are responsible for the truthfulness of all information in your applications
Grant-AI is not a party to any agreement between you and a funding program

7. Subscription & Payments

Some features require a paid subscription. Payments are processed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of payment.

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

Submit false or misleading information in applications
Use the Service to apply to programs you are not eligible for
Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or copy the Service
Use automated tools to access the Service beyond what we provide
Violate any applicable laws or regulations

9. Intellectual Property

The Grant-AI platform, including its AI models, algorithms, design, and branding, is owned by Grant-AI. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

Grant-AI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

Decisions made by funding programs regarding your applications
Accuracy of program information (deadlines, funding amounts, etc.)
Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days unless required by law.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Berlin, Germany.
